By installing, accessing, or using Jirvana ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access or use our Service.
These Terms apply to your use of Jirvana through the Atlassian Marketplace and are subject to Atlassian's Terms of Service and Marketplace Terms.
2. Description of Service
Jirvana is an AI-powered sprint analysis tool for Jira that provides:
- Automated analysis of Jira sprint data
- AI-generated recommendations for sprint optimization
- Identification of potential blockers and dependencies
- Team workload analysis and insights
- Real-time sprint analytics and reporting
3. User Accounts and Access
3.1 Atlassian Account Required
To use Jirvana, you must have a valid Atlassian account and access to a Jira instance where you have appropriate permissions to install and use marketplace apps.
3.2 Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Atlassian account and all activities that occur under your account. Jirvana inherits your existing Jira permissions and does not create separate accounts.
4. Pricing and Payment
4.1 Pricing Structure
- Free Tier: Available for teams with up to 10 users at no cost
- Paid Tiers: Pricing based on user count as published on the Atlassian Marketplace
- Billing: All billing handled through Atlassian's Marketplace billing system
4.2 Cancellation and Refunds
Cancellations and refund requests are processed according to Atlassian's Marketplace refund policy. You may uninstall Jirvana at any time to stop future charges.
5. Data Processing and Privacy
5.1 Data Access
Jirvana accesses only the minimum necessary data from your Jira instance to provide the Service, including:
- Sprint information and metadata
- Issue summaries, statuses, and assignments
- Project data and workflow information
- Issue relationships and dependencies
5.2 Privacy Commitment
We do not store your data persistently. All processing is done in real-time, and data is immediately discarded after analysis. For complete details, see ourPrivacy Policy.
6. Acceptable Use
6.1 Permitted Use
You may use Jirvana for legitimate business purposes related to project management and sprint analysis within your organization.
6.2 Prohibited Activities
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
- Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service's functionality
- Use the Service to process data you don't have permission to access
7. Intellectual Property
7.1 Our Rights
Jirvana and all related trademarks, logos, and content are owned by us. We retain all rights, title, and interest in the Service.
7.2 Your Data
You retain all rights to your data. We claim no ownership over the data you process through Jirvana.
8. Service Availability
8.1 Uptime
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. The Service operates within Atlassian's infrastructure and is subject to their availability.
8.2 Maintenance
We may perform scheduled maintenance that temporarily affects Service availability. We'll provide reasonable notice when possible.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or use, incurred by you or any third party.
Our total liability for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any rights of a third party.
11. Termination
11.1 Termination by You
You may terminate your use of Jirvana at any time by uninstalling the app from your Jira instance.
11.2 Termination by Us
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms or engage in activities that harm the Service or other users.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll notify users of material changes through the Atlassian Marketplace or other reasonable means. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
13. Governing Law
